VCNJ is dedicated to offering a rewarding musical journey for our members, engaging experiences for our audiences, and educational opportunities for the local community.
Your donation will directly benefit:
1) Orchestras for our Concerts. Help fund the orchestra for our upcoming performances of Vivaldi’s Gloria on December 14, and Mozart’s Requiem on May 3, timeless masterpieces that will inspire and move audiences.
2) Choral Scholars Program. This program provides stipends to young adult, degreed musicians who serve as section leaders and concert soloists, enriching both their professional development and the quality of our chorale.
3) Assistant Conductor Residency. Emerging conductors hone their skills and gain hands-on experience by assisting with rehearsals and performances under the tutelage of our Artistic Director, Dr. David McConnell.
4) Young Composers Project. In this award-winning program, children aged 5-12 learn music composition skills through a series of workshops led by a professional composer. Their original works are showcased in a special concert with VCNJ, offering them a unique opportunity to hear their compositions performed by a professional ensemble.
